You do not have to pay for the application, for registration or for travel. Before the contract is signed you are provided with accommodation, military uniform and three meals a day; you receive the status of serviceman after signing the contract.

Travel and welcome

We pay for the journey to Russia or reimburse it after you arrive, we meet you at the airport and accompany you to the location of the unit. Everything else — accommodation, meals, equipment — is covered by the unit.

9 military specialities are available: driver, rifleman, machine gunner, UAV operator, driver-mechanic, sniper, motor rifleman, grenade launcher operator and gunner-operator. No experience is required — every position includes training at the training ground.

Military service under contract in the SMO zone for citizens of Fiji is open to drivers, riflemen, machine gunners, UAV operators, driver-mechanics, snipers, motor riflemen, grenade launcher operators and gunner-operators; those without experience are also taken and trained at the training ground. Contract registration — without a visa: entry on your international passport, and your referent helps with the documents: collects the paperwork, accompanies you to the medical board and the military commissariat, you submit the application in person. Service with accommodation at the unit covers the barracks or a dormitory, meals and travel, so you will not have to spend anything at the start. If you are aiming for service with an allowance from 200 thousand, you receive from 210,000 roubles net. The next team for arrival at the unit is being formed now.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a scam?

You are right to ask. We take no money from candidates. Before departure you review the text of the contract template and can study it calmly.

Why is it free for me?

Registration, travel, housing and meals are organised so that you pay nothing — the receiving side covers all the costs.

Who pays my monthly allowance?

The Ministry of Defence, directly to you, under the contract. We do not withhold any part of your allowance.

How much will I earn?

Monthly allowance — from 210,000 roubles net, about €2,150 at the September 2026 rate; rates change. Plus a one-off payment on signing the contract — up to 3 million roubles depending on the region and the position. Housing and meals are free, we pay for travel or reimburse it after arrival, so most of it can go to your family. The first allowance arrives one month after arriving at the unit.

What are the requirements?

The service is physical and winters are cold. You need good health and stamina — every candidate has a medical check at home and a second one in Russia, as well as psychological screening. Military experience is not required: every position includes training at the training ground.

How long does it take before departure?

Document checks: for CIS citizens — 2–3 days, for citizens of other countries — up to 2 weeks. Then medical board and screening — 2–5 days, arrival at the unit — 1–2 weeks.

Which documents should I bring?

A valid passport is essential: citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union can use either an internal or an international passport, everyone else needs an international one. For a better-paid position, bring your diplomas and military documents: certificates, military ID, service records, driving licence.

What do I pay for myself?

The passport, the medical check in your country and your personal spending. The consular fee, the Russian course, the medical check and the medical board in Russia, housing, meals and military uniform are free for you. We pay for your ticket or reimburse it after you arrive.

Are there days off and leave?

Leave is 15 days after six months of service. The service schedule, days off and the procedure for discharges are set out in the contract, and your referent goes through it with you before departure.

I do not speak Russian. Can I still apply?

Yes. Before service starts we run a free 1–2 week Russian course: the words and commands you need for service and preparation for the attestation. The referent speaks Russian and English.

What if the command breaks the terms?

Write to your referent straight away. We take it up with the military unit and push for the contract terms to be met. We stop working with units that break the contract.

Can I come with a friend or relative?

Yes. Let him write to us separately and say who he wants to serve with — we will try to send you to the same unit.
